(translation)
in the wrath of fire and smoke
my lover stands still
in the curse of this hell
my lover blooms still
my dreams need vocalizing
is there’s any god who’s listening still?
in your love my lover lives still
in your love my lover dies at will
there’s declaration of war
hear the screams feel the uproar
one searches for love in this hell
do you have it within?
i can’t tell
oh, my love
oh, my love
pour the showers of love in this hell
a dear friend is what my heart yearns for
in this enclosed room loneliness and i sleep in
seize my dreams and light the desire within
oh, love
oh, my love
i’m alive in your light
i’m alive in your light
about
The war is upon us. Unrest, uproar and violence have consumed what was once a vibrant tapestry of life, leaving behind nothing but smoldering ruins. Homes, once filled with warmth, now succumb to flames. Bodies are fleeing; some make it, some don’t. The air is thick with the stench of blood, and the ominous sound of impending doom reverberates through the scarlet-painted alleys.
Peeking through a jailed window, a spirit confined in the darkness beseeches the divine—how is it? How is it that the noblest and the most heinous deeds in the world are committed in your name, in your faith? Why does fear propel people to unimaginable lengths, while love often withers in its shadow? Am I going to live still, or will I die in your love at will? Is there a sign? A divine light? If I see it, I’ll know; whether I’m meant to be here, or if I will go.
