Chapter 6: Time

Time and its cycles are fundamental aspects of the universe. It picks you up and latches you onto its spinning wheel, pulling you away from familiarity and security, disorienting your senses, before it drops you back to the start. Many moments have passed, perhaps a few years, even centuries, yet this passage seems as brief as a night's sleep.

The body undergoes renewal, but the soul retains a sense of age and familiarity. The sun appears unchanged, yet the air feels different. The streets recognize your footsteps, and your feet fit into the familiar contours of the pavement. However, the faces once etched in the mind are now a forgotten memory. In these cycles of change, only the present remains, intact and unabashed.

In this dance of time and existence, the heart longs to experience the same emotions it felt before the slumber. It desires to be pulled back into a circular motion and returned to the warmth and comfort of days gone by. Time is a forgiving friend and an attentive listener, yet it can't grant the heart's deepest desires. The question remains: will the heart beat for the past or find a way to embrace the present? Or will it bend time to its unwavering will?
