Chapter 7: Greed

This crumbling civilization is deeply entrenched in a dopamine-driven lifestyle, with people oblivious to their addiction and purposeless in their pursuits. Everyone wants to be the first, but no one knows what race they're running. Empathy and gratitude are emotions of the past, dead like a withered garden in a forsaken land.

The reality is fragile, resembling a delicate house of cards waiting to collapse at the slightest touch. Yet here we are, the masses, aimless, senseless and tired. Ignorant of the impending collapse, we run around, and we're often coerced to run around, in cycles just to get by.

There isn't much time. The lifestyle needs realignment; a laser focus on what really matters. With timely intervention, there's a chance, a precious opportunity to salvage the situation. If not, we'll succumb to the powers that be, bleeding out till the end, getting eaten alive by the mercenaries who profit from this mass misery.
